Louisiana Death Row Exoneree Shareef Cousin Testifies in Support of LA Anti-Death Penalty Bill
Shareef Cousin was wrongfully convicted and sentenced to die at the age of 17, making him the youngest person ever to be sentenced to death in Louisiana. Just recently, he testified in support of Senate Bill 294, which would have kept prosecutors from pursuing capital punishment after August 1, stating, "you have an opportunity to change history."
