Ray Krone Spoke to KJZZ News About Ending the Death Penalty


KJZZ News interviewed Ray Krone about Arizona's rush to find drugs to resume the death penalty. Arizona halted executions in 2014 after problems with the drugs being used for the execution of Joseph Wood. Now, Arizona officials are anxious to find drugs that they can use. Attorney General Mark Brnovich is convinced that all 14 prisoners on death row in Arizona are guilty of the crimes that they were convicted of and believes that they should be executed swiftly.

However, Ray Krone is all too familiar with wrongful convictions and the problems with the death penalty. He spent 10 years on death row in Arizona for a crime he did not commit. Ray is speaking out against this new move to resume executions.
